David Babic is
a 7-year member of the US Freestyle Ski Team.
He has finished in the top twelve in the
World all of those years and is currently
ranked 7th in the World. He has a number
of World Cup podiums including 2 World Cup
wins. He is constantly striving to push his
abilities and his sport. In 2002 he became
the first individual to perform two off-axis
spinning maneuvers.
In
addition, he also became the first athlete
to perform an off-axis 1080 spin in a World
Cup competition. Babic continues to refine
his skills and competitive knowledge and
hopes that his perseverance and years of
experience will lead him to the top at
the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, CAN.
Not only is David Babic a Current World
Cup Freestyle competitor but he is also the
owner and director of Mogul Logic Summer
Ski Camps. In the off-season he directs summer
camps in Whistler, B.C, Canada and also at
Sugarbush Resort in Vermont. This year he
will also be actively involved in the design
of Sugarbushs’ Park and Mogul terrain.
