After graduating high school in 2004 I
knew that if I wanted to be the best I
needed to be in a place that could facilitate
my drive. I moved to Park City UT where
the training opportunities all year round
were nothing like I had seen before.
Whether
it was training at the Utah Olympic Park
or choosing from one of the seven ski resorts
within forty minutes I had the best training
tools at my disposal. This was going to
be the place I would make my training ground!
After making the U.S. Ski Team that Fall
I began to ski Nor-Ams and World Cups traveling
around the World. Not much has changed
since moving to Park City in 2004, my hunger
and determination are stronger than ever
and as the 2008-2009 competition season
gets under way I am looking forward to
it more and more!

Why I Chose Camp-Mak-A-Dream
For My Charity
I choose Camp-Mak-A-Dream because it offers
children and young adults dealing with cancer
the opportunity to come to a place where fun
is number one! It is a cost free camp that
strives to make the experience a fun filled
dream! Giving these children and young adults
the ability to relax and unwind while dealing
with illness is a huge benefit for the campers.
I have comfort in knowing that these children
and young adults have a dedicated staff of
gracious volunteers making their dreams a reality.
